Nerqast

Atoms are small, but what they reveal is anything but

Nerqast is a hands-on space for exploring atomic physics through energy levels, electron transitions, spectra and light

Choose an element, change an energy level and watch how a transition connects energy, wavelength, frequency and color

A transition from n = 4 to n = 2 becomes more than a formula, you can see where the emitted light appears on the spectrum and understand what is happening behind the numbers

With Nerqast you can

Explore elements and atomic structure

Inspect electron shells and energy levels

Build and calculate electron transitions

Calculate photon energy, wavelength and frequency

Visualize emission spectra and spectral lines

Explore Lyman, Balmer, Paschen, Brackett and other spectral series

Save experiments and return to previous calculations
