Still Bonsai

Still Bonsai grows one bonsai tree from one sitting.

Press Begin, put the phone down, and sit. The tree grows while you do — trunk first, then the branches, then the foliage — and when the time is up, it is finished. You keep it. Nothing grows while you are not sitting.

There is no guided voice and no music. No streaks, no badges, no reminders to come back. The tree is the only record, and it is enough.

A SITTING • Choose a length from 5 to 60 minutes. Thirty is the default. • The tree takes shape as the minutes pass — you can watch it or leave it alone. • When the time is up, the tree joins your garden with its date and its length. • The clock is the real clock. Leave Still Bonsai open in the background, use another app, lock the screen — come back and the tree has grown exactly as long as you sat.

NO TWO TREES ARE ALIKE Every tree is grown from scratch: its style, the lean of the trunk, the way the branches reach and the foliage settles. Sit twice and you get two different trees. Your garden becomes a record of your sittings that you could not fake if you wanted to.

YOUR BREATH, IF YOU WANT IT With your permission, the microphone listens for the rhythm of your breathing, and the tree settles as your breathing settles. Audio is never recorded, never saved and never sent anywhere — only the rhythm is measured, moment to moment, and then it is gone.

It is optional. Decline it and the app works exactly as before — your tree simply grows on time alone.

STILL BONSAI PRO Everything above is free. One optional in-app purchase, bought once, unlocks: • Seasons — grow in spring, summer, autumn or winter instead of following the calendar. Each one changes the foliage, the light and the ground. • Walk the Field — step into your garden and walk among every tree you have grown, at full size. • Rooms — choose the colour of the space your tree grows in. • Export — save any tree, any garden, or your whole field as an image.

There is no subscription. Nothing expires.

PRIVACY Still Bonsai has no account to create, no analytics, no advertising and no networking code of any kind. Your trees, your sittings and your breathing stay on your phone.
