VaultScrub

Hide private details before you share a screenshot.

VaultScrub helps you cover names, phone numbers, addresses, account details, and anything else you want to keep private. Edit on your iPhone or iPad, then copy the finished picture into a chat or share it with another app.

HIDE WORDS OR WHOLE AREAS Tap a word to hide it. Hold and drag to hide several words in a line. Use Box to cover faces, pictures, or text that was not recognized.

FIND REPEATED TEXT Search for a name or phrase and hide every match, or choose one occurrence at a time.

OPTIONAL PRO — ONE-TIME PURCHASE Unlock Suggestions to review possible email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, and card numbers. My private text remembers your own names and details to look for in future pictures. Try Pro on five screenshots for free, then unlock it with one payment. No subscription. You choose what to hide.

Basic editing, search, crop, copy, and share stay free, with no watermarks or export limits.

CROP, COPY, AND SHARE Trim away unwanted edges. Pinch to look closely, undo changes, and copy or share an edited image. You can also open VaultScrub from another app's Share menu.

YOUR PICTURES STAY ON YOUR DEVICE WHILE YOU EDIT Image editing and text recognition happen on your iPhone or iPad. No account, ads, or subscription. Your original picture stays unchanged. Covered details are removed from the image copy you send.

Always check the whole picture before sharing. Automatic suggestions can miss private details, and other visible information can still reveal context.

Supports still PNG, JPEG, HEIC, and HEIF images up to 8 megapixels and 40 MB.
