Easy ToDo: Task Board

Easy ToDo is a small, floating task board for your Mac — like sticky notes, but organised into groups. Jot things down the moment they come up, check them off, and get straight back to work.

GROUPED, NOT CLUTTERED Collect tasks under a ticket, a project or a topic. Give a group a description, drag groups and tasks to reorder them, and see at a glance how much is left. Ticket IDs like APP-142 are recognised and shown as references.

ALWAYS WITHIN REACH Press Control-Option-T anywhere to show or hide your tasks. Pin the window to keep it above every app and follow you across Spaces and full-screen apps. Easy ToDo also lives in your menu bar.

NARROW OR WIDE Keep it as a slim strip beside your editor, or stretch the window out to get a sidebar of groups and focus on just one.

BUILT FOR THE KEYBOARD • Return moves from title to description to the first task, then creates the next task • Backspace on an empty task deletes it and jumps to the previous one • Command-N starts a new group • Escape cancels the current edit

DONE MEANS DONE Checked tasks settle into a tidy completed list. When every task in a group is finished, the group moves to Completed on its own.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no sign-up, no tracking, no ads. Your tasks are stored only on your Mac.

Easy ToDo looks at home in both light and dark mode and requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
