Midrate FX: Currency Converter

Midrate FX is a fast, no-nonsense currency converter built for how you actually think about money, and it tells you the truth about what banks charge.

SEE WHAT YOU'RE REALLY PAYING Exchange booths, banks and transfer services hide their fee in the rate. The Check a quote tool shows it: type what they offer, as a rate or an amount, plus any fee, and Midrate FX shows what it costs you in money and percent against the mid-market rate. Rates typed the other way round are caught and flipped in one tap.

HOW IT WORKS Open the app and it's already set to currencies that fit your region, based on your device's Region setting, never your location. Type an amount and every currency updates as you type. Tap any currency to convert from it instead.

PRIVACY No accounts and no analytics. The ad comes from Google AdMob and is never personalized; the app never asks to track you. With Midrate FX Pro the ad software never starts. Your currencies and amounts stay on your phone. The app goes online to fetch exchange rates and, while Check for updates is on, to look for fixes once a day.
