Origami: Study & Focus Timer

Origami is a calm focus timer that folds a paper figure while you work.

Plan how many sessions you want today and how long each one is, then set your phone down. The apps you chose to avoid are shielded on your device using Apple's Screen Time API - you can't open them until the session ends. Meanwhile, on a lamp-lit desk, a sheet of paper folds itself into an origami figure, one crease at a time. Finish the sessions you planned for the day, and the figure joins your collection for good.

- Choose which apps are shielded during a session - the list never leaves your device - A calm desk instead of a countdown: lamp light that follows the time of day, seasons at the window (automatic, or pick your own), and soft desk sounds - rain, room tone, night crickets - that respect silent mode - Tap the desk to see the time left and the clock, take a break or leave the session; the corner button opens the same reading - Change the number of sessions, their length or the paper between sessions; add your own reward for when you finish, and every figure in your collection shows how many sessions it took - 15 figures across 3 sets, folded in five plain papers: ivory, mint, sky blue, pink and yellow - Pick any figure for the day, give it a name of your own, and keep every paper color you earn it in; sessions from 3 minutes to any length you choose - Finish a figure in a single day and it gets a gold corner; once today's figure is earned, you can keep going with extra sessions - Every figure you earn can become your app icon - Add an optional tag for what you're working on, name a study term, and look back each week; a monthly sheet shows your focused days and your best hour - Fold together: invite friends and see each other's desk for today - no chat, no leaderboard, nothing else shared - Draw your desk: on devices that support Image Playground, turn photos of your desk and room into a hand-drawn scene, and switch back to the default desk any time without losing it - Lock Screen and Dynamic Island session, optional mindful minutes in Health - Your progress lives on your device and in your own iCloud - we run no servers and never see it - Free at launch with every feature, no ads and no purchases. If you download it now, it stays that way for you. - Built for iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo. iPhone works upright or sideways; iPad and the Duo cover screen are landscape

Origami doesn't track your screen time, doesn't read what you do in other apps, and doesn't teach origami folding technique - it's a focus companion, not a class.
