Sift: Clean Up Screenshots

Sift turns a camera roll full of screenshots into something you can use.

It reads every screenshot on your iPhone or iPad and sorts it by what it is: codes and tickets, upcoming events, chats, places, receipts and orders, shopping, links, social media, games, contacts, articles and pictures. The boarding pass is under Codes & Tickets. The Wi-Fi password is one search away.

CLEAN UP WITH CONFIDENCE Sift suggests the screenshots you probably no longer need, and says why: • Copies of a screenshot you already have. Sift keeps the newest, or your favourite. • Pictures of your Home Screen, almost always taken by accident. • Login codes that stopped working minutes after they arrived. • Tickets, coupons and offers whose date has passed. • Screenshots you have not needed in a long time.

Review them one card at a time: swipe to keep or delete, or use the buttons. Nothing is deleted until you confirm it in Photos, and deleted screenshots stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days. Favourites are never suggested.

FIND ANYTHING Search the words on every screenshot. Add a date to your calendar, copy a flight number or a code, and open the screenshot full screen for scanning.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN Every screenshot is read on your device. Sift has no account, no servers and no analytics, and makes no network requests of its own. It reads English and the languages Apple supports, and Hebrew with a reader built into the app.

MADE FOR EVERYONE VoiceOver hears what each screenshot says. Voice Control, Switch Control and Full Keyboard Access work throughout, with keyboard shortcuts for reviewing. Dynamic Type up to the largest sizes, Assistive Access, and options of Sift's own: buttons only, larger buttons, reduce motion, solid backgrounds, stronger contrast, bold text and more.
