Em resumo

BeamWeather is a weather utility that shows NEXRAD radar scans in 3D, with full-resolution Level II data, live wind animation, and archived storms back to 1991. It suits people who want to study storm structure in detail. It stands out for letting users slice through a storm to see its vertical structure, and it is not meant for life-safety decisions.

Sobre

Storms don't just appear. They build. BeamWeather plays every radar scan in 3D, so you watch the towers climb, the cores fill in and the storm take shape, with live wind flowing underneath.

RAW RADAR, RIGHT IN YOUR POCKET • Full-resolution Level II data from every NEXRAD site, every tilt • Reflectivity, velocity, spectrum width, differential reflectivity, correlation coefficient, differential phase and hydrometeor class • Echo tops and VIL • Touch anywhere to read the value under your finger

STORMS IN 3D • Stand the whole volume up over the map and play it scan by scan • Slice through any storm to see its vertical structure • Place a storm in the sky around you with AR
