Handed Down Kitchen is a private recipe box for your family: the handwritten cards, the "add a pinch of this" recipes that only live in someone's head, and the stories that go with them.

SCAN THE CARDS Take a photo of a recipe card, even a faded handwritten one, and it's typed up for you to check.

SEE WHERE A RECIPE HAS BEEN Mark where a recipe began and every place it's been made since, and watch its journey on a map, from the farm kitchen in 1952 to your first apartment.

SUBSCRIPTION Every new recipe box is free for 14 days, then $19.99 a year or $2.99 a month (prices may vary by country). Payment is charged to your Apple ID when the free trial ends. The subscription renews automatically unless it's turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Family members you invite don't need a subscription of their own.
