Practice Japanese verb and adjective conjugations, plus JLPT N4/N3/N2-level grammar, with quick, repeatable quizzes. Verb and adjective drills plus grammar questions from beginner (N4) to intermediate (N2), all in one app.
■ TWO MODES [Conjugation practice] Drill verb and adjective conjugations with 4-choice quizzes [JLPT grammar (N4/N3/N2)] Choose the word or phrase that fits the blank in a sentence (30 questions each for N4, N3, and N2, 90 in all)
■ SEE YOUR PROGRESS AT A GLANCE - See how much of each conjugation (te-form, ta-form, and so on) and each JLPT level you have completed - The more questions you answer correctly at least once, the greener the button gets, until it turns solid green at 100% - Your record is saved when you close the app, and you can clear it for each mode to start over
■ JLPT GRAMMAR (N4/N3/N2) - 30 grammar questions each written for the JLPT N4, N3, and N2 levels (90 in all) - All questions are original - Pick one level to practice; the app remembers your choice next time - N4 questions use N4-level kanji and vocabulary, with spaces between words for easier reading (other words are written in hiragana) - Every question has an explanation: why the answer is right and why the other choices don't fit - Even after a long explanation, the "Next" button at the bottom of the screen takes you straight to the next question - Turn furigana (kanji readings) on or off; your choice is saved - Review list of the questions you missed, plus a one-tap "review mistakes" round
■ CONJUGATION PRACTICE [Verbs] te-form, ta-form, tara (conditional), ba (conditional), nai (negative), potential, passive, causative, causative-passive [Adjectives] present, past, negative, past negative, te-form, adverbial (i-adjectives and na-adjectives) - Verbs are shown in masu-form (e.g. tabemasu → te-form?) - Choose verb groups (Group 1: godan / Group 2: ichidan / Group 3: irregular) - Switch adjectives between polite (desu) and plain style - "Mixed practice" asks random questions from every conjugation - Built-in guide explaining how to make each form from the masu-form - 48 verbs and 38 adjectives, each with its English meaning
■ IN BOTH MODES - 10 questions per round, easy to fit into a short break - Streak bonuses and sound effects keep practice fun (sound follows your iPhone's silent switch) - Works offline
■ GOOD FOR - Students learning Japanese, and people from abroad working in Japan - Beginners who want to master verb and adjective conjugations - Learners practicing JLPT N4, N3, or N2-level grammar - Teachers who want a review tool for their classes
Note: The app screens are in Japanese, with English meanings for every conjugation-practice word. Grammar questions and explanations are in Japanese. This app is free and supported by ads. This app is not an official JLPT (Japanese-Language Proficiency Test) app and is not affiliated with the test's organizers. All questions are original to this app.
