Next Hoops: Pickup Basketball

Find basketball courts and pickup games near you. See who's playing right now, join a run and get on the court.

Next Hoops is a map of more than 400,000 basketball courts around the world, and the people who play on them.

FIND A COURT • Outdoor and indoor courts on one map, with photos, lights, surface and hours. • See the courts closest to you, or search by court name, city or neighborhood. • Get directions with one tap. • Missing a court? Add it in a few seconds.

SEE WHO'S PLAYING • Every court shows how many people are there right now. • Check in when you arrive so others know there's a game. • See the hours when a court is usually busy.

JOIN A RUN • A run is a pickup game with a day and a time. See the runs near you and who's going. • Set up your own run and share the link with your friends. • Open runs by Next Hoops: where nobody has set up a game yet, Next Hoops sets up an open run every Saturday at 10:00. Anyone can join. It's on with 2 players; with fewer, it's cancelled 3 hours before and you get a notice.

PLAY • Join the line for the next game and see which team is up. • Keep score from your phone. Scores save even without signal. • Courts with several hoops have a separate line for each one.

COURT LEADER • Every court has a leader, its king of the court, for each format from 1v1 to 5v5. • Challenge the leader for the spot or for the court badge. Agree on a day and time, play, and both of you report the result from the court.

BULLETIN, CREWS AND CHAT • Bulletin: posters for runs, events and tryouts near you. • Crews: your regular group. One tap calls everyone to a court. • Court chat: talk with the people who play where you play.

COLLECT • Every court has a collectible card. Check in there to unlock it.
