Choose from nine languages, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Catalan, German, Dutch and Swedish, and climb from A1 to C2 across 72 units: from saying hello and ordering a coffee to debating, adding nuance and getting the jokes locals make. Already know some? The placement test starts you at the right level, and an exam at the end of each level shows you just how far you’ve come.

You learn from your own language, because Parlumi speaks thirteen: the nine course languages plus Polish, Finnish, Ukrainian and Turkish. Every explanation is written for speakers of your language, shows you what’s different and warns you about false friends before they trip you up.

Every lesson feels fresh. Build sentences with tiles, type with the keyboard of the language you’re learning, listen to natural voices at normal or slow speed, say sentences out loud and find out instantly if you’re understood, spot the mistake and finish each unit with a short story. Words that give you trouble come back in smart reviews, and if you get stuck, a hint or “I don’t know” shows you the answer without breaking your stride.

And you never learn alone. In the city of Parlumi, each week you join a neighborhood of up to twenty people and together you build a project at The Harbor, The Lighthouse, The Beach or any of its eight places. You contribute by hitting your daily goal, so consistency counts, not level. When your neighborhood finishes the build, you earn gems, the city grows stage by stage and you rise through the titles, from Visitor all the way to Mayor of Parlumi.

Friends make it even better: find them by @username or with your QR code, compete on the weekly leaderboard, challenge them to a 60-second lightning duel where speed beats level, and invite them to earn months of Premium. Your privacy comes first: until you’re friends, people only see your @username and photo.
