Ping Light: Website Monitor

Know whether your websites and APIs respond as expected—right from your Mac's menu bar. Ping Light is a lightweight HTTP(S) endpoint monitor for developers, independent founders and operators.

ADD A URL. DEFINE HEALTHY. SEE THE RESULT. Choose GET, HEAD or POST, an expected status code and a timeout. Run a check immediately or choose a recurring interval. One focused popover shows which endpoints are healthy and which need attention.

MONITORING RUNS ON YOUR MAC Ping Light checks while the app is running and your Mac is awake. It is not a cloud monitor or a guarantee of 24/7 coverage. It resumes checks after wake; an internet outage or denied local-network access can affect results. Notifications require macOS permission.

For safe export, remember that URL query parameters and POST bodies can still contain sensitive information. Re-enter credentials after importing configuration.
