Sticky for Google Tasks

There's no Google Tasks app for Mac — just a browser tab you keep losing. Sticky puts your lists right on your desktop.

Open as many lists as you like, each in its own small window, and keep them on top of whatever you're working on. It's your real Google Tasks, synced both ways with tasks.google.com, Gmail, and the Google Tasks app on your phone.

RIGHT ON YOUR DESKTOP • Give each list its own window: work, groceries, weekend plans, side by side. • Windows float above other apps. Set the opacity you like; a window fades in when you point at it. • Collapse a window into a small circle when you need the room, and click it to bring the list back. • Lives in the menu bar, not the Dock. Click the menu bar icon to show or hide every window at once.

EDIT RIGHT IN PLACE • Add, rename, complete, and delete tasks without leaving the list. • Make subtasks with ⌘] or by dragging a task to the right. Reorder with ⌘↑ and ⌘↓. • Write details under any task. Links in titles and details are clickable. • Undo when you slip.

BRING DELETED TASKS BACK Google's own apps hide the tasks you delete. Sticky can show recently deleted tasks and restore them with one click.

BETWEEN YOU AND GOOGLE Sticky runs entirely on your Mac and talks only to Google. There is no server, no analytics, and no crash reporting. You can export your lists to a file at any time.

WHAT STICKY LEAVES ALONE Google's Tasks API doesn't expose times of day, repeating rules, reminders, or stars, so Sticky doesn't show or edit them. They keep working in Google Tasks, and editing a task here never breaks them.

Requires macOS 13 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon.
