Theimduft is a pair of keeping-tools for a canal barge galley, and this is the short glossary of how they work.

Sitting — one meal served to the crew. Open Portion Tally, type how many portions each store gave up for that sitting — flour, beans, potatoes, smoked fish, and the rest — and the app totals the days of supply left before the next provisioning stop.

Larder Label — a stencil code for a jar going into store. Larder Labels prints the next code, then you flick the label down onto its shelf — DRY, PICKLE, CURED, or OIL. Land it on the wrong shelf and a blank is spoiled, so the flick wants a steady hand.

Galley Ledger — every sitting and every label kept in one list, newest first, filterable down to tallies alone or labels alone.

Store Stats — a plain read of what is left in each store and how quickly it is going.

Setup — portions per head, sittings a day, and the stencil code style used on the next label, all set once and remembered.
