TruckSlides helps drivers of tractor-trailer combinations slide their trailer tandems to balance axle weights and stay within legal limits, fast, at the dock or in the lot, without guesswork.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT Rather than assume a fixed shift-rate for every trailer, TruckSlides instead uses your specific trailer's kingpin-to-rear-axle (KPRA) measurement, calibrated against your own scale reading, so the recommendation reflects your actual trailer, not a generic one.

HOW IT WORKS Enter your steer, drive, and trailer scale weights. TruckSlides checks every hole in your trailer's slide range and finds the one that keeps every axle under its limit, either balancing drive and trailer weight evenly or maximizing trailer weight, your choice. Get a clear recommendation: which direction to slide, how many holes, and roughly how far, along with the resulting weight at each axle. Steer, drive, trailer, and gross weight limits are all editable in Settings, along with your trailer's hole spacing and KPRA baseline, so the math matches your actual rig.

WHO IT'S FOR Drivers running single-trailer trucks who need to slide tandems to make weight. (Doubles and other multi-trailer combinations aren't supported.)

WHAT'S FREE, AND WHAT'S COMING The core weight-balance calculator is free forever, with no ads and no sign-in required. A future update will add State Check: a state-by-state kingpin-to-rear-axle law reference, sourced from primary statute text, as an optional paid feature. Nothing about the free calculator changes when that ships.

TruckSlides is a calculation aid, not a substitute for a certified scale. Always verify your load on a certified scale before you roll.
