Aptenyo JLPT Grammar N5–N1

Every pattern has its own grammar card: • Connection: what form comes before the pattern • When to use it: meaning and feel, with the limits spelled out • Example sentences: 1–3 per pattern, with a scene illustration and Japanese audio • ○ / × contrast: a mistake learners really make, the correction and why • Similar expressions: up to three, each with one line on how it differs • Logic diagram: see the structure of the pattern at a glance

【Tested N times since 2010】

Each pattern is marked “Tested N times since 2010”, based on grammar statistics from past exam questions. It is a count of what has already happened, not a prediction. Patterns without data show “No data”. Export Favorites as a PDF sorted by exam frequency, with frequency counts.

When you get one wrong, the app shows where it went wrong, the clue in the question and the correct answer, with the full sentence, its translation and audio. Expand to see why each choice is right or wrong; correct answers have explanations too. Missed questions go to your Mistakes list and come back on a spaced-review schedule, so you can redo them.
