Av ROBIN GUSTAV ROGNE · SpelDärför förväntar vi oss mycket av den: A clever road trip concept with offline multiplayer, clear value and thoughtful privacy makes it a promising family pick.
Kort sagt
Backseat: Road Trip Car Bingo is a multiplayer game app for passengers on a trip. Everyone types the same license plate to join, then plays games like car bingo, Yatzy, and Hangman phone to phone, with no internet needed. What stands out is that it works over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, so it keeps running where the signal drops, and it includes solo puzzles too.

Are we there yet? With Backseat the drive goes faster. Everyone in the car types the same license plate, picks a seat and plays together, phone to phone. No internet needed.
PLAY TOGETHER • Car bingo: spot cows, tractors, fire trucks and gas stations out the window. First with four in a row wins, and whoever has the fewest marks gets a forfeit. • Yatzy with one shared set of dice • Draw and Guess: one draws, everyone else guesses out loud • Hangman: one picks a word, the others guess letters together • Rock, Paper, Scissors: a knockout for the whole car • Four in a Row and Sea Battle: challenge someone in the car • The card games Chicago, Go Fish and Skitgubbe
PLAY SOLO Sudoku, Solitaire, 2048, Memory, Minesweeper and the 15 Puzzle. The others in the car can ask to watch while you play.
NO INTERNET The phones and iPads in the car find each other over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, so you can play even where the signal drops.
ROOM FOR EVERYONE From a car to a 40-seat bus. The driver doesn't play, and the app says so.
NO HASSLE No accounts, no ads and no in-app purchases. The app collects no data about you or your child.
