BD Check: Delivery Checklist

BD Check is a calm, thorough checklist for your BYD handover, and for buying a used BYD.

A handover is a good moment, and a busy one. A light scratch on a door, water inside a light, a warning on the screen or a missing charging adapter is easy to overlook while the paperwork waits. After you sign, it can be much harder to put right, so it helps to find it first.

BD Check takes you through the car one point at a time and keeps a record of everything you find.

• A step-by-step checklist for the Atto 3, Seal U DM-i (Sealion 6 in Australia), Dolphin Surf, Dolphin, Atto 2, Seal, Sealion 7 and Shark 6, and a general list for other BYD models • Electric and plug-in hybrid (DM-i): paint and body, glass, interior, screens, cameras, wheels, keys, charging and a short test drive • Checks based on the BYD owner's manuals • Mark each point OK or Not OK, and add a photo and a note to any issue • All issues in one place, ready to share as a PDF • A flashlight button for dim garages • Works offline. No account. Your checks stay on your phone • In English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French and Italian

Plus (one-time purchase, no subscription): • How to check every point, with reference images of example defects • Extra points for your model, such as the rotating centre screen, the head-up display, the flush door handles and front trunk on the Seal and Sealion 7, the cargo bed and spare wheel on the Shark 6, and the fuel door and EV/HEV modes on the plug-in hybrids • A detailed PDF report with your photos and notes • Saved checks, and a preparation guide for the handover or a used purchase

BD Check is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by BYD Company Limited. BYD and the model names are used only to describe the vehicles the app covers.
