Bearing Maven

Explore ball-bearing behavior in an interactive engineering workspace on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro.

• Configure geometry, fits, materials, lubrication and operating conditions. • Inspect the assembly in 3D and select balls in linked section views and result tables. • Calculate contact loads, Hertz pressures and supported bearing-life results. • Compare clearance classes and work with metric or imperial display units. • Save project inputs, import Harris .bbi files, and export results and contact or duty-cycle tables.

Calculations run locally, without a Maven account. Saved projects contain inputs; export results to retain a calculation record. Recent-run history is kept for the current session.

Based on Harris–Kotzalas methods and Harris course code. Results depend on the selected model and supported conditions. Review assumptions, estimated catalogue dimensions and calculation messages, and independently verify results for your application.

SUBSCRIPTION Opening, editing and saving inputs are free. Calculations require a monthly auto-renewing subscription. Eligible new subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. The local price and trial eligibility appear before purchase. After the trial, the subscription renews at the displayed monthly price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple account settings. Restore purchases in the app.
