We never receive them • What Calorie Tape reads from Apple Health stays on your iPhone • Shared Foods and Label Reading use the internet, and each asks first • Shared Foods sends a barcode that isn't on your iPhone to our servers • Label Reading sends your package photos to our servers to read the label. When you save that food, we keep its photos for review and may share its values with other people
