Clearsing: Learn to Sing

Learn to sing in tune. The piano plays a short pattern, you sing it back, and your voice is drawn live as a line on a piano roll: green when you land on the note, yellow when you are close, red when you are off. Every note gets a colour and a percentage, so you know how it went before the exercise ends.

WHAT YOU GET

• Live pitch feedback. See exactly where you sing relative to the target notes, note by note, with a score for each.

• 183 exercises, from warm-up to belt. Lip trills and sirens, scales, arpeggios and intervals for intonation, mixed voice exercises for the top of your range, runs, breath control, long notes with vibrato, ear training and short melodies with lyrics.

• Daily training. A set of exercises that fits in about 15 minutes, chosen for your level and vocal range. Your scores, streak and the highest note you sang cleanly are saved, so you can see whether your range is really moving.

• Everything fits your voice. Take the two-minute vocal range test or pick a voice type, and every exercise is transposed so each note sits inside your range.

• A coach that explains. After each exercise, short advice based on your results, for example that you were 20 cents flat on the high notes.

• Your style. Practise on the kind of music you like to sing.

• Three difficulty levels and a scoring tolerance you set yourself, from strict to forgiving.
