DriftTape Pro
Inget anspråk gjortDriftTape turns any sound into an evolving ambient texture
Av John Reading · Musik och ljudDärför förväntar vi oss mycket av den: Clear focus, thoughtful controls, and a privacy-first design make this a compelling ambient instrument for experimenters.
Kort sagt
DriftTape Pro turns imported or mic-recorded sounds into evolving ambient textures, shaped live with an XY pad, edge sliders, and tape-style controls, all processed on the device. It suits people who make ambient music or sound design and want an instrument that stays private, since it collects no personal data and sends nothing to external servers. One standout feature is the XY pad, whose values hold their position when lifted instead of snapping back to zero.

DriftTape turns any sound into an evolving ambient texture.
Load a source, then shape it live with an XY pad, edge sliders, and deep tape-style controls, all rendered in real time, entirely on your device.
FEATURES
• The XY Pad: one finger drives Texture and Drift together in real time. Values hold their position when you lift, never snapping back to zero, like a real instrument. • Shimmer & Decay: edge sliders add pitch-shimmer and reverb tail on top of the grain cloud. • 13 built-in presets: Fog, Cathedral, Tape Decay, Frozen Lake, and more, each with its own color theme. • Import or record source material directly from the mic. • Export your textures to a shareable audio file.
The instrument is free to play. A one-time purchase unlocks:
• Unlimited sounds (import and record) • Unlimited-length exports • Save your own presets • Tape Character, Dry Blend, and Pitch Shift controls
DriftTape collects no personal data, uses no analytics or tracking, and sends nothing to external servers. Recordings and imported sounds stay on your device. There are no accounts and no cloud sync.
