Kort sagt

EnergyBongbong is a utility for Mac that keeps the computer awake from the menu bar, with no window or dock icon. It offers Buzz to keep the display and Mac awake, Doze to let the display sleep while the Mac keeps working, and Off to restore normal behavior. One standout feature is that endless Buzz sessions automatically drop to Doze after a set number of hours.

Om appen

EnergyBongbong keeps your Mac awake from the menu bar. No window, no dock icon. Just a candy.

THREE MODES • Buzz — display and Mac stay awake • Doze — display may sleep, Mac keeps working (downloads, builds, servers) • Off — everything back to normal

TIMERS • Presets: 15m, 30m, 1h, 2h, 4h, or endless • Type any number of minutes • Your last three timers are one click away

POWER RULES • Switch modes automatically when you plug in or unplug the adapter • Turn off when the battery gets low (you pick the threshold)

SAFETY AUTO-OFF • An endless Buzz session drops to Doze after a set number of hours, so a forgotten session never keeps the display lit for days

ALSO • Optional remaining-time readout next to the icon • Launch at login • No data collected. No network. Nothing leaves your Mac.

Requires macOS 14 or later.
