Därför förväntar vi oss mycket av den: A thoughtful evidence-case concept with preserved sources and clear methodology makes climate questions traceable and worth exploring.

Kort sagt

Climate Casebook+ is a climate investigation app that turns a question, such as whether London is getting wetter, into a saved case built from NASA and NOAA records. Each case keeps the source data, measured change, evidence strength, methodology and limitations together, so it can be revisited and compared with other cases. It suits people who want a traceable evidence record rather than a forecast or dashboard, and one notable feature is that reopening a case does not replace its original measurements with newer ones.

Om appen

Investigate climate. Build the evidence. Preserve the case.

Climate Casebook+ is a distinct climate investigation app built around evidence cases, not a conventional climate-data viewer, forecast app or statistics dashboard.

Instead of simply displaying climate information, Climate Casebook+ lets you create a structured investigation from a real question, preserve the underlying measurements and source data, assess the strength and limitations of the evidence, compare saved cases and produce a traceable evidence record that can be revisited later.

CREATE CLIMATE CASES Start with a question such as “Is London getting wetter?” Choose a location, climate indicator and time period, and Climate Casebook+ builds a saved case from authoritative climate records.

Each Climate Case keeps the question, source data, observations, calculated change, evidence assessment, methodology, provenance and limitations together.

REAL DATA. PRESERVED EVIDENCE. Climate Casebook+ uses established public climate datasets, including NASA and NOAA records. Depending on the investigation, evidence can include temperature, rainfall, humidity, wind, atmospheric CO₂, sea ice and ocean temperature.

The evidence used for an assessment is preserved with the case, so reopening it does not silently replace the original investigation with newer measurements.

ANALYSE AND COMPARE Every Climate Case includes evidence strength, record quality, observation count, measured change, methodology and evidence boundaries.

Compatible cases can be compared side by side, allowing you to examine differences in findings, periods, measurements and evidence quality.

ASK THIS CASE On supported devices, Apple Intelligence can help explain the evidence already contained within a Climate Case.

Ask what changed, identify the strongest evidence, request a plain-English explanation or explore what the available evidence cannot establish. Responses remain grounded in the saved case evidence.

PROFESSIONAL REPORTS Premium users can create detailed PDF evidence reports containing findings, charts, evidence metrics, methodology, provenance, limitations, technical notes and glossary information.
