Heatmap for Sports: PlayHeat

See your game from a new angle.

PlayHeat turns GPS routes from Apple Health workouts into heatmaps and sprint insights. Pick a sport, line up the field or court with your route, and see how you moved during your game.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Create a heatmap from a GPS workout. • Explore your sprints with an adjustable speed threshold. • See your top speed and how your distance splits across speed zones. • See your average position and how your time splits across defense, midfield and attack. • Compare two games from the same sport side by side: heatmaps, sprints, highlights and metrics. • Choose soccer, American football, basketball, rugby or field hockey. • Save and name heatmaps on your device, then share a result image. • Use PlayHeat in English, German, Spanish, French or Turkish.

HOW TO RECORD

PlayHeat needs a workout with a GPS route in Apple Health. Some watches, including Apple Watch, don't save a route in team sport modes, so record your game as an outdoor run or walk. Indoor workouts or routes with too few points inside the selected field may not produce a result.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

PlayHeat reads Apple Health data only with your permission and never writes to it. Your routes are analyzed on your device, and your saved heatmaps stay on your iPhone.

Your first three heatmaps are free. The full comparison and additional heatmaps require PlayHeat Premium, available as a weekly or annual auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Current prices and terms are shown before you confirm a purchase.
