Hybrid AutoPress

Hybrid AutoPress uploads Markdown files to WordPress — many at once. Each file becomes a post or a page with its headings, links, lists, tables and images, saved as a draft, published right away or scheduled. Works with any WordPress: WordPress.com and every host.

BATCH UPLOAD • Add single files, a whole folder or drag them in — every file becomes one post or page. • Set post or page, draft or publish once for all documents, then adjust any of them. • Titles come from the file's front matter or its first heading; front matter also sets slug, excerpt, tags, categories, date, author, featured image and credit.

REAL BLOCKS, NOT A BLOB • Headings, paragraphs, lists, quotes, code, tables and images arrive as separate blocks in the WordPress block editor — each one editable, movable, deletable on its own.

IMAGES • Pictures on your device go to the media library and are linked in the text, alt text included. Each is uploaded once, however many documents use it. • Scaled to web size before the upload, as JPEG or WebP; HEIC photos converted. • Crop every picture to 16:9, 3:2, 4:3, 1:1 and more, choosing the part to keep. • A credit such as "© Name" set into the corner, in the size and colour you choose, with a live preview. • The featured image is found automatically: named in the file or lying next to it.

SCHEDULED PUBLISHING • Upload now, go live at the time you choose. A whole batch can be staggered: the first one on a date, the rest an hour, a day or a week apart.

METADATA — FOR ANY WORDPRESS • Categories and tags chosen from your site's own list; new ones are created for you. • Author, comments, sticky, permalink, excerpt. • SEO title, meta description and focus keyphrase for Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress and Jetpack — the app asks your site which fields it has and shows exactly those. • Fields that plugins or your theme add appear by themselves, explained in plain words.

CONNECTING IS SAFE • Sign in via the browser: WordPress creates a separate application password for AutoPress. Your login password never reaches the app; the access can be revoked in your profile any time. • Credentials stay in the keychain of your device. AutoPress talks to your website and to nobody else — no account with us, no tracking. • Clear help when something is in the way, down to the .htaccess line a shared host needs.

WORKS WITH HYBRID • Hybrid's "Prepare for online publishing" and AutoPress use the same Markdown-to-HTML engine, so what you saw in Hybrid is what arrives in WordPress. • Write and collaborate in Hybrid, keep the folder, publish it with AutoPress — no copying, no pasting, no reformatting.

AUTOPRESS PRO AutoPress is fully usable for 7 days. After that the AutoPress Pro subscription (monthly or yearly, price shown in the App Store) keeps it that way. Without it the app goes on as a free version: one document at a time, pictures at full size as JPEG, no scheduling, and no metadata fields — cropping, credit, featured image and draft-or-publish stay free. The subscription renews automatically and can be cancelled at any time in your Apple Account settings.

Requires iOS 17 or macOS 14 or later, and a WordPress website (5.6 or later) reachable via https with an account that may create posts.
