Mai helps English speakers learn Thai from real video conversations.
Watch a Thai clip, follow its transcript line by line in English and tap a word to see its meaning, pronunciation and tones. Save words individually or select several at once, then practise them with spaced review. Use focus mode to hide translations until you want them, and adjust text size in Profile. Mark saved words as known to pause their reviews, or return them to review with their history intact. Your vocabulary and review progress are stored on your device.
Videos use YouTube's official player and require an internet connection. Mai does not download YouTube video or audio.
Video lessons require a Mai Pro subscription, monthly or yearly; your saved words stay available in Vocab and Review. The yearly plan starts with a one-week free trial for eligible new subscribers. The price, trial and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings.
