Kort sagt
MemoPale - Character Notes is a productivity app that stores notes under up to twelve custom characters, each with its own shape, eyes, color and name. It suits people who want a playful way to sort notes by topic. It stands out for transcribing Japanese or English speech on the iPhone itself, with audio never sent to a cloud service.

Give every note a character.
MemoPale keeps your notes with characters you design. Choose a shape, eyes and a color for each of up to twelve characters, then give them names like Ideas, Reading or Travel.
Tap a character and its color fills the screen. Choose Read to see its notes or Write to start a new one. Long-press a character to see its name.
WORDS AND PHOTOS TOGETHER Copy and paste photos and images right between your lines, and long-press any image to save, copy or share it. Edit saved notes, search every word, and browse your notes newest first.
SPEAK YOUR NOTES Turn Japanese or English speech into text with on-device recognition on your iPhone. Audio is never sent to a cloud service.
YOUR NOTES STAY ON YOUR IPHONE No account, no ads, no analytics. Export and restore backups any time, with light and dark modes.
FREE TO START, ONE-TIME UNLOCK The free plan lets you write up to five notes per character, attach images, transcribe your voice and customize every character.
A one-time Premium purchase removes the note limit and lets you use your own photos as characters, zoomed and framed the way you like. It is not a subscription. Notes that arrive through sync or backups remain readable and editable on the free plan, and purchases can be restored.
PC sync is available as a beta feature.
