NotchBuddy: Notch Pet & Tools

NotchBuddy puts a little pet in your MacBook's notch, and a calm dashboard for your day right behind it.

Try everything for 3 days, then unlock it once. No subscription.

Hover the notch and your day drops open: start a focus session, see what's playing, check the next reminder, jot a note and reach 18 small tools without opening a window.

A PET THAT LIVES IN YOUR NOTCH Pick Pebble the cat, Pip the rabbit, Orbit the visitor, Moss the sprout or Ember the flame. It walks along the notch, naps when you step away, yawns, comes up to the glass for a closer look, and jumps with surprise when you make a sale. Sounds are rare and quiet, and one switch turns them off.

FOCUS IN ONE CLICK Pomodoro, countdown, stopwatch and water reminders. A thin progress line runs along the notch while you work. Rain, wind, waves or brown noise, generated on your Mac.

YOUR MUSIC IN THE NOTCH See what's playing in Music or Spotify, and play, pause or skip without switching apps.

HEAR EVERY SALE Selling apps or products? Connect Stripe, RevenueCat, Lemon Squeezy, Polar, Paddle, Dodo Payments or Gumroad with a read-only key you create, and new sales, renewals and trials pop into the notch with a cha-ching. Refunds and failed payments are flagged. App Store Connect works too, from Apple's daily sales report. See today's takings, MRR, subscribers and trials. Keys are stored in your Mac's Keychain and sent only to that platform. Try it with sample data first.

18 SMALL TOOLS Focus, Music, Reminders (spoken out loud if you like), Notes on sticky pads, Scratchpad, Clipboard history, Shelf with AirDrop, Images (resize and convert), Links, Calendar peek, Sounds, Stats, Units, Emoji, Colour picker, Mirror for calls, Pets and Revenue.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no analytics. Notes, reminders, clipboard history and your shelf stay on your Mac. Anything a password manager copies is never saved.

3-DAY TRIAL, THEN A ONE-TIME UNLOCK Start a 3-day trial with every feature included. When it ends, the notch panel and tools stop until you unlock NotchBuddy with a one-time in-app purchase. Nothing is charged automatically and there is no subscription. Bought NotchBuddy before version 1.0.1? It stays fully unlocked.

Works on macOS 14 or later, on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. On a Mac without a notch, NotchBuddy sits as a small black pill at the top of the screen.

Stripe, RevenueCat, Lemon Squeezy, Polar, Paddle, Dodo Payments, Gumroad and Spotify are trademarks of their owners. NotchBuddy is not affiliated with them.
