PhysikStart

How does a shadow change? Why does an object float? What happens when a circuit is opened? PhysikStart lets you investigate these questions in a virtual lab on iPhone and iPad.

PREDICT, EXPERIMENT, UNDERSTAND Each mission connects a question with an experiment. Make a prediction, adjust the available controls and observe the result. Explanations, hints and a question about a new situation guide you along the way. Completed experiments stay in your notebook. Repeat missions or continue an unfinished activity.

SIX TOPIC WORLDS • Light and shadows • Forces and motion • Magnets • Water and buoyancy • Electricity and energy • Sound and vibrations

THREE STAGES YOU CAN CHOOSE Discover introduces simple relationships. Investigate focuses on comparisons and exploration. Understand adds measurements, units and simple formulas. Switch stages without having to complete earlier ones.

18 MISSIONS STAY FREE All twelve light missions are included, plus one motion mission and one magnet mission at each stage. The open shadow lab, hints, read-aloud audio, repeated practice and up to three local profiles are also included.

PLUS IS A ONE-TIME PURCHASE An optional in-app purchase unlocks 54 additional missions, giving you all 72 missions and all six open labs. There is no subscription. Purchase and restore are in the PIN-protected “For parents” area. The current price is displayed before purchase.

THREE LANGUAGES, AVAILABLE OFFLINE Learning text and read-aloud audio are available in German, English and Turkish. All 1,296 speech recordings are included in the app. The recordings were produced in advance using AI voices; read-aloud playback sends no text to an AI service. Learning and narration work offline. Purchases and restoration may require an internet connection to Apple.

LOCAL, WITH NO ADS No app account, advertising or tracking. Profiles and learning progress are stored on your device. Settings and purchases are protected by a six-digit PIN that you choose.

The experiments use simplified physics models. PhysikStart does not replace a complete curriculum or practical experiments with appropriate guidance.
