Screenshot Tidy: Sort & Find

You saved it. Then you lost it.

Screenshot Tidy turns filing into a two-minute game. 20 screenshots at a time. Stop whenever you want — whatever you filed counts.

● Why your screenshots pile up

It's not that you're lazy. A screenshot is the fastest way to "save it for later" — but it has no home. Once it's in your camera roll, it looks like the other three thousand.

We didn't want to hand you another to-do list. So we made a game with an ending.

● Four ways to play, depending on your mood

• Deal — I want to sort properly. Drag each one into a folder. • Snap — Just clear it out. Swipe left to toss, right to keep. No folders to think about. • Sweep — I have a thousand. Pick a whole batch and file it in one go. • Wheel — Lots of folders. They sit around the photo; pull toward one and it's filed.

● Filed means findable

The text inside your screenshots is read on your phone, so later you can just type "receipt" or "boarding pass" and there it is.

● Things we chose not to do

• No streaks. Miss a day and nothing happens. • No badges, no levels. You're not here to be graded. • No pressure to finish. Tap Done and everything you filed still counts. • No account, no sign-in.

● What's free
