Side A: Your Cassette
Inget anspråk gjortA tape for the ride home
Av Carlos Gotiong · Musik och ljudDärför förväntar vi oss mycket av den: Side A offers a charming, well-explained nostalgic twist on Apple Music with clear customization, eight screenshots, and transparent notes on what it does not do.
Kort sagt
Side A: Your Cassette is a music-audio app that shows Apple Music playback as a cassette tape with turning reels. Users can write a name and note on the label, pick from eight cassette colors and eight backgrounds, and control playback without leaving the cassette view. Its standout feature is realistic winding, which moves the tape from one reel to the other as the song plays.

A tape for the ride home. One for a slow Sunday.
Side A brings the familiar feeling of a cassette to Apple Music. Start a song in Apple Music, open Side A, and watch the reels turn as you listen.
Make it yours
Write a name and a little note on the label. An inside joke, a date, a memory, or simply "the long way home." It's your tape.
Find your colors
Choose from eight cassette colors and eight player backgrounds. Pair a clear shell with warm ivory, try something brighter, or settle into smoky charcoal.
Watch the tape wind
Choose realistic winding to watch the tape move from one reel to the other as your song plays. Prefer the classic look of two evenly filled reels? Keep it on rotation only.
Stay with your music
See what's playing and use playback controls without leaving the cassette view. Your music continues to play through Apple Music. Side A simply gives it a different face.
Made for Apple Music
Side A is designed exclusively for Apple Music and requires permission to access your Apple Music playback.
