Need your floor music at 1:30? Your free skate at 2:30 ±10? Your dressage freestyle in time with your horse? SongShrink fits any song you own to the exact time and tempo, and the cuts land on the beat so the music still sounds like music.

HOW IT WORKS 1. Import a song you own: an MP3 or a song you bought from the iTunes Store. 2. Pick your time limit. Built-in limits cover ISU, U.S. Figure Skating, USA Gymnastics and FEI, British Dressage and US dressage freestyle levels, or set your own for dance, cheer or anything else. 3. SongShrink listens to the song, finds the beats, bars, phrases and sections, and suggests up to four finished edits: keep the ending, most energy, smoothest joins, or fade at the time. 4. Play it, fine-tune it, export it.

CUTS THAT DON'T SOUND CUT Every cut lands on a bar line between whole musical phrases, and every join is crossfaded, so there are no clicks, skipped beats or jarring jumps. Too short? SongShrink can repeat a section to lengthen it instead.

MATCH THE TEMPO Set the pace of each part of the music. Tap along with your horse's steps, type the steps per minute, or make a part last exactly as long as you need, and SongShrink speeds the music up or slows it down to fit. Label parts Walk, Trot and Canter for a dressage freestyle, or use it for any routine that has to follow a beat. SongShrink warns you when a change is big enough to hear.

LYRIC DEDUCTIONS Some events, such as USA Gymnastics women's floor, deduct for lyrics, song or speech in the music. SongShrink shows exactly where singing remains in your edit and can remove vocals on your device. Vocal removal works well on most songs, but always listen to the whole file before you compete.
