In short

AMRAP Strength logs squat, bench press, deadlift and overhead press, calculates each set's weight from a percentage-based training max, and estimates your one-rep max from logged reps on the final AMRAP set. It suits lifters who want a simple, one-time purchase with an Apple Watch companion that works without the phone.

About

AMRAP Strength logs your four main lifts and tracks your progress: squat, bench press, deadlift and overhead press.

I made it because I was fed up. The lifting apps I tried were free to start, then wanted a monthly fee. And on the Watch they crammed too much onto a small screen.

So AMRAP Strength does one job. It works out every set's weight from your training max, using a percentage-based programme. The last set of each lift is AMRAP: as many reps as possible. Log your reps and the app works out your estimated one-rep max. At the end of each cycle it tells you what to lift next.

On Apple Watch you see today's lift and each set's weight and reps. Tap a set to tick it off. The Watch app works on its own, so leave your phone in the locker. Needs an iPhone to set up. Heart rate and calories can be saved to Apple Health.

You get progress charts and full history on iPhone. Everything syncs through your own private iCloud.

No subscription. No ads. No account. No social feed. Clinton Labs never sees your data.
