Boomerang - Lent Items

Boomerang remembers the things you lend and the things you borrow: who has them, for how long and when they are due back.

Lent Marco your drill? Take a photo, pick Marco from your contacts, choose the category and the return date. Under "Lent" you see: 9 days, due 20 October. On the due date you get a reminder. When the drill comes back, tap "Returned" and it moves to the history.

TWO LISTS • Lent: your things that other people have • Borrowed: other people's things that you have • How many days, when it's due, and only what's overdue stands out • Filters by person and category, plus search

FOR EVERY ITEM • A photo, taken or from your gallery, kept inside the app • 12 categories with icons: books, tools, games, kitchen, sport and more • A note, the loan date and the return date • Reminders on the due date and, if needed, 3 and 7 days later

TO ASK FOR IT BACK • A ready-written message, polite and clear, for a text or WhatsApp • The app opens Messages or WhatsApp with the text ready: you press Send • For one person, everything in a single message

PEOPLE • From your phone's contacts or typed in, as many as you like • The app doesn't read your address book: it only sees the contact you pick • For each person: what they have from you, what they lent you, what has come back

BOOMERANG PRO One purchase, no subscription: • Unlimited items out on loan (the free version keeps 5 at a time) • Your own categories, with a name and an icon • An item card and a person's list as images, ready to send • CSV export of every item • Backup, photos included, to move everything to a new phone

The free version includes photos, reminders, unlimited people, messages to ask for things back, the full history and restoring from a backup. When an item comes back, a slot frees up.

No account, no ads, no data collected: everything stays on your phone. Reminders are local notifications, and the app never sends anything by itself.
