In short

Ground Note: Soccer Journal is a football logbook for youth players that turns long match videos into short clips. Parents or guardians share a video from Photos, paste a link into the cut sheet, and tap "Here." at the moments to keep. The app stands out for its privacy defaults: pages start private, and only a guardian can change visibility.

About

The moment you want to watch again, buried in a long match video. Keep it in Ground Note, match by match.

Ground Note is a football logbook for youth players — their match videos and their record.

■ Send straight from Photos Pick a video in Photos, tap Share and choose "Ground Note". It lands in the upload queue. Send several at once if you like, and close the app while they upload — they keep going. You get a notification when they are done.

■ "Here!" at the good moment If you have the full match video, paste its link into the cut sheet, watch, and tap "Here!" at the moment you want to keep. We cut just before and after it and make a clip. No downloading a huge file, editing it and uploading it again.

■ The clips come back to the app Add the date and the opponent, and the app says "a new clip has arrived". File it, and it joins the other moments from that match.

■ Several at once is fine They are grouped by when they were shot, and we ask for the opponent once. If a match already exists for that day, they join it.

■ Mark which player is yours Trace a circle or an arrow once, and the mark stays on the thumbnail too. Watch a movement again in slow motion.

■ We do not count wins Only how much they played and what they left behind. Minutes, condition, a note about the day. A day with no video is still a record. When the month turns, we fold that month into a single page.

■ Moments beyond the goals "Those Days" holds photos from the pitch, training, and laughing with teammates.

■ One link to show it Whoever receives it sees it straight away — no app to install, no sign-in.

Because this is a place for a child · A new page is private by default. Link-only and fully hidden are both there. · Only a guardian can change visibility and consent — even after the player takes the page over. · Videos open only through signed links that expire. A leaked link does not live forever. · Reporting and blocking are built in from the start. Child-safety reports come first.

About the cut sheet · The cut sheet is a separate web page where you pick moments; results arrive in the app. · It does not find your child automatically. It makes clips from the moments you choose. · It accepts Veo, YouTube and mp4 links. Some sources or privacy settings cannot be processed.
