Keeping you on the right track
Hike-R is your offline-first hiking map wherever you go. Download map data before you leave, then explore and follow hiking trails completely offline, without internet connection or mobile coverage.
Built for the trail
• Download detailed country maps for offline use • Keep track of your position, heading, and current elevation while hiking • Explore hiking routes and notable places directly on the map • Search available routes and places by name, or tap the map to discover nearby options • Check route details including length, duration, interactive elevation profile and other useful information • Plan custom routes with multiple steps, using existing hiking trails • Save your favorite routes and places for quick access later
Keeps things simple
No account. No profile. No location history uploaded to a server. Hike-R processes your location and motion data on your device only. It does not track your hikes or collect any kind of personal information.
Efficient by design
Hike-R is built to be lightweight, helping conserve battery during long days outdoors. Intelligent motion-aware location tracking adjusts to your activity, reducing unnecessary GPS usage while keeping you aware of your position on the trail.
Free to use. No ads.
Always free to use for one country at a time. Unlimited countries can be unlocked with a one-time purchase of Hike-R Pro, which supports ongoing maintenance and future development.
Stay safe
Hike-R is a map and route-planning aid, not an emergency, rescue, or life-safety service. Map data, trail information, elevation data, and GPS position may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unavailable, especially offline. Check official local information, weather, closures, and trail conditions before travelling.
