About

From Chengdu to Jianmen Pass. Sit at the table with figures who lived through the Three Kingdoms era in this mahjong RPG, and march on toward rule over the realm. Take on four-player East-only games against computer opponents, solo and at your own pace. Every match runs on your device, so you can play even where there's no signal. If you're new to mahjong, the 8-step "How to play" guide walks you through the deal, Riichi, Ron and Tsumo, and scoring, as you actually discard tiles.

THE JOURNEY BEGINS As the General, you travel through the four strongholds of Chapter 1 alongside Sun Shangxiang the Battle Princess, Huang Yueying the Tactician and Diaochan the Skirmisher. The points you score by winning hands wear down a stronghold's walls. Break the walls completely and finish the East-only game without busting to conquer it. Setting out costs provisions, which recover over time.

OPPONENTS WITH CHARACTER Nine opponents await, three at each of the three strongholds where battles are fought, including Liu Zhang of Chengdu, Zhang Lu of Hanzhong and Jiang Wei of Jianmen Pass. Each one has a portrait, spoken lines and a style of play: some favor attack, some defend tightly, some call often. In Hanzhong, you play under a special rule: no calls. The characters' lines and personalities are created for the game.

STRATAGEMS AND BONDS After your first conquest of Chengdu, three stratagems become available. Choose one when you set out, and use it once per battle. Fight alongside your generals and give them gifts to deepen your bonds.

LEARN AS YOU GROW STRONGER On the win screen, tap a yaku's name to open its explanation. A list of all 45 yaku is always there to look back on. Every yaku you win with is recorded in the Yaku Book. Your March Rank rises with your results against the computer, through 12 ranks from Gate General to Grand Marshal. In Rank Battles at camp, you face opponents matched to your current rank.

EVERY DAY Today's orders and This week's orders, a Roster of everyone you've sat at the table with, and records of your personal bests and service record. Use copper coins to change the color of your table cloth and tile backs, and collect titles. These are cosmetic only and don't affect play or scores.

SPEECH AND MUSIC Each character calls out Ron, Pon, Chi, Kan, Riichi and Tsumo aloud, and speaks lines at moments like winning or dealing in. The music is 27 tracks matched to the scene: camp, the early and late game, the tension of Riichi, and victory or defeat. You can turn speech and music off, or change their volume, in Settings.

AT YOUR OWN PACE By default there is no time limit on discards (you can set a turn timer in Settings). Without a timer, the game waits for your choice when you can call or Ron. You can also turn down sound, vibration and effects, change the text size, and choose a light or dark display.

ABOUT ADS At the Market, watch an ad to receive provisions (up to 3 times a day). After a match ends, a full-screen ad may appear when you return to camp or go straight into another battle (at most once every 2 matches, and never on the day you first play). Ads appear only at the Market and in the transition after a match ends.

DATA AND AGE No account needed. Your progress and settings are saved on this device, and you can delete all of them from Settings at any time. You can also export your progress data from Settings to keep a copy. Points exist only within the game and can't be exchanged for money or prizes. Intended for ages 13 and up.
