Lapforge turns the phone on your dash into a lap timer for HPDE days, club track days and practice sessions.
Press GO, drive through your start line, and each lap is timed from GPS. Lapforge places the crossing between two GPS readings instead of waiting for the next one, so a lap is not rounded to the nearest second. Your best and last lap sit in big condensed digits you can read at a glance, and the circuit is drawn as a racing line with your position on it.
Built not to lose a session Every GPS point is written to the phone as you drive. If the app is closed mid-session, the laps are there when you open it again. The screen stays awake while timing, and finishing takes a one-second hold, so a bump with a glove does not end your run.
Knows the track Lapforge recognizes more than 350 US road courses, ovals and kart tracks from OpenStreetMap outlines and remembers the start line you set at each one. At a track that is not on the list, set your own line as you cross it.

Phone GPS updates about once a second, and accuracy depends on your phone and the sky. The timing screen shows the current GPS accuracy so you know how much to trust a lap.
Pro comes three ways: yearly, where the first 7 days cost nothing, monthly, or lifetime for one payment. Yearly and monthly plans bill again by themselves. To stop one before it bills, cancel it under Subscriptions in your iPhone's Settings with at least a day to spare.
