About

Maprelay packs numeric texture-mask channels and checks a candidate PNG against the exact output of your saved mapping.

PACK YOUR OWN MAPS Import owned PNG files. Assign each output R, G, B and A component from a source component or constant byte. Invert with 255 minus the byte. Choose ORM, RMA or HDRP-mask recipes, then inspect every route; recipes use source import order, not automatic semantic detection.

COMPARE THE ACTUAL BYTES Import a candidate PNG with exactly matching dimensions. Rebuild expected output from the current routes, then compare every decoded RGBA byte. See expected, candidate and binary changed masks. Read each channel’s changed-pixel count, maximum absolute delta and mean absolute delta over all pixels. RGB below alpha zero is included. The coordinate inspector shows expected and candidate bytes and signed deltas. It can step through the first 1,000 recorded changed components; X/Y can inspect any coordinate.

SHARE A REPRODUCIBLE CHECK Write thirteen comparison files: Expected.png, unchanged Candidate-original.png, five Changed-Any/R/G/B/A masks, complete four-channel statistics CSV, a detailed CSV of at most the first 1,000 changed channel components in row-major/RGBA order, settings-and-hashes JSON, paginated PDF, readme and ZIP. Full-image counts and masks are not capped. White masks mean changed; black means equal. Source originals are retained separately and excluded from comparison ZIP.

KEEP YOUR WORK Save twelve local packs with eight source originals and one candidate each, plus eight mapping presets. Rename, duplicate and delete, retain notes, reopen and rebuild. Original files carry SHA256 checks. Changing settings clears previous output; a candidate with obsolete dimensions must be replaced or removed before rebuilding. Production starts empty. Optional original synthetic studies demonstrate packing and deliberate comparison differences; they are not customer examples.

EXPORT CHANNELS The separate ten-file packing output includes RGBA PNG, four grayscale channel PNGs, PDF, source-assignment CSV, recipe JSON, readme and ZIP. Original sources remain individually shareable. Recipe and comparison JSON document settings; they are not importable backups.

NUMERIC BOUNDARIES Static non-interlaced 8-bit gray, RGB, gray-alpha or RGBA PNG only; up to 2048 pixels per side and 32 MB per file. Palette, low-bit/16-bit, tRNS, APNG and other formats are unsupported. Stored bytes are used without gamma/ICC conversion; profile and descriptive chunks are not preserved. Output is unassociated RGBA8, preserving RGB under alpha zero. RGB previews ignore alpha. Source nearest resampling is explicit; candidates are never resampled.

Equal decoded bytes do not mean identical PNG metadata, correct material semantics or game-engine compatibility. No 3D material rendering, baking, atlas generation or engine integration. Verify destination import settings yourself.

One upfront purchase. No subscriptions, IAP, accounts, advertising, analytics or developer upload. Files stay on the device until you choose to share them.
