About
Your vocal basics, 10 minutes a day — MyVocal brings warm-ups, breathing, scales and ear training together so you can practice a little every day. The piano plays, you sing, and your pitch is drawn as a live line over the notes, so you can see exactly where you are.
■ Sing scales with the piano Press Start: the piano plays a cue chord, then the melody, and you sing it back. Each round the starting note rises a semitone, then comes back down. As you sing, the mic draws your pitch over the note bars on a piano roll, and you see your pitch accuracy at the end. • Patterns: 5-note scale, arpeggio, octave arpeggio, octave jump, 9-note scale, 1.5-octave arpeggio, minor 5-note scale, staccato arpeggio, siren, fifth slide, vibrato pulses, chromatic scale, long tone • Sounds: English syllables like Mah, Mee, Nay, Mum, Gee, Lah, No and Wee, sequences like Mee-Meh-Mah-Moh-Moo, and techniques like lip trill, tongue roll, humming, “Ng”, straw phonation, “Ha” staccato and “Woo” siren • Start with a ready-made exercise, or build your own from a pattern and a sound • Choose your voice type (bass to soprano) or measure your range with the mic, and scales start where your voice sits. Set the tempo and start note, and turn the piano melody on or off
■ Agility Practice moving through many notes quickly and cleanly: sing 5-note runs, thirds zigzags, trills, pentatonic runs and blues riffs with the piano, and check your pitch line on every note.
■ Warm-up Body & Neck, Lips & Tongue (lip trills, tongue rolls) and Wake Up Resonance (hum, “Ng” siren, yawn-sigh, straw phonation) — timed steps with a guide tone.
■ Breath Belly Breathing (in for 4, then a longer “Sss” each round) and Staccato Breath build the breath that carries your voice. In the Long “Sss” Test, the mic times how long you can keep going on one breath.
■ Ear • Live Pitch — see the note you're singing, with cents • Pitch Match — sing back the note the piano plays • Interval Quiz — easy, normal and hard • Range Finder — find your lowest and highest notes and your closest voice type
■ Today's practice & records Today's practice picks one exercise from each area and checks it off when you're done. See your longest “Sss”, pitch match, interval quiz, scale accuracy and the last 7 days at a glance.
■ Made easy • No account — start right away • The mic is used only to show your pitch. Sound is analyzed on your device and is never recorded or sent anywhere • Earphones keep the piano out of the mic for a cleaner reading • Night mode and iPad support • 한국어 · English · 日本語 · 繁體中文 · Español · Français · Deutsch · Português · العربية
■ Premium Warm-up, breathing, ear training and the basic vocal exercises are free (the free version shows ads). Premium (in-app purchase) unlocks every agility exercise, the rest of the vocal exercises, Build Your Own and changing the pattern, sound, tempo and start note — and removes ads.
