About

Cut the cable, mix the paint, copy the key, haggle the price. When a shiny DIY superstore opens across the street, can the little neighbourhood hardware shop survive?

On a quiet street corner stands a tiny hardware shop. Its owner is Uncle Nuri: glasses on his nose, apron on, tea always brewing.

The door bell rings. Yusuf the plumber needs a pipe union and thread tape; Cengiz the electrician wants sockets, switches and a terminal strip. The neighbour is painting her door before the holiday; a student needs a craft knife for a model. Listen, find the right item on the shelf, hand it over. Out of stock? Write it on the list, buy it when the wholesaler comes, and the customer will be back.

There is always work at the counter. Cut cable to the metre: stop right on the mark and earn a tip. Mix paint drop by drop on a white base until the shade matches. Copy a key tooth by tooth. Decide how much discount to give the bargaining builder.

As the days go by, the shop comes alive. Efe or Melike asks for an apprentice job; hire them and they serve customers too. Strike deals with builders and pack bulk orders for their sites. Cemal the barber calls you out for a round of backgammon. Then one morning a shiny DIY superstore opens across the street, and your customers start drifting over. The little shop fights back: make it stronger, win the neighbourhood back, and one day put the deed in your own name.

• A 5-chapter story: Shutters Up → The Neighbourhood Shop → A Superstore Opens → The Little Shop Fights Back → The Deed • 5 minigames: cable cutting, paint mixing, key copying, haggling, pouring tea • Nuri's Notebook: every item you sell adds a page to a 75-page notebook; complete a shelf, earn a title • Customers who can't name it describe it: "The living room is dark, I need light." You find the right item • Tea by the door: a neighbouring shopkeeper calls you out, you pour the tea and catch up on the gossip • Special guests: Kerem the DIY vlogger, Haluk the fussy contractor. Serve them without a slip • Decorate your shop: sign name and colour, awning, window display, gift wall. And a stray cat who moves in • At the end of each season the Muhtar rates the street's shopkeepers • A star report at the end of every day; serve fast and right to build streaks and tips • 75 real hardware items: screws, wall plugs, paint, fittings, sockets, sealant, cement… each with its own price, unit and drawing • 14 kinds of customers, each with a real problem to fix • Customers who need several things at once tell you what they got and what is next • Buy from the wholesaler, keep the shelves balanced, grow the till • 12 shop upgrades: extra shelf, lit sign, cutting bench, tea corner, card reader, key cutter, paint mixer, delivery scooter… • Street life: backgammon, the tab book, returns, a beggar, a shoplifter, a power cut, the neighbour's tea • Changing weather: rain brings plumbers, sunshine brings gardeners • Sounds: birds on sunny days, rain on rainy days, chatter when the shop is busy • Soft pastel art that is easy on the eyes, a calm and friendly pace
