Nine letters. How many words can you make?
Nine Letter Word Puzzle is the classic newspaper puzzle, made for iPhone. Make words of four to nine letters from the nine tiles. Every word must use the letter on the black tile, and there’s always at least one word that uses all nine.
A SHUFFLE THAT KEEPS YOUR PLACE Shuffling the tiles helps you see new words. Here, the letters in your current guess stay pinned at the front, in the order you entered them, while the rest are rearranged. Try a few letters, shuffle, and see what follows.
PLAY YOUR WAY • Tap the tiles or type on the keyboard. • Start a random puzzle whenever you like. There are thousands. • Enter the nine letters from your newspaper’s puzzle and work on it without writing in the margins. • Guess a word and its plural or singular is checked for you.
WHEN YOU’RE STUCK See every answer for the puzzle, with the ones you found marked. Tap any word to look up its definition.
SIMPLE AND PRIVATE • No ads, no accounts and no tracking. • Nothing about you is collected. • No connection? A set of built-in puzzles keeps you playing.
Words are from a British English word list.
