In short

RETRO-TRONIC Lighthouse Keeper is a games app that recreates a 1981-style LCD handheld. Players catch falling buckets and block waves across three fixed spots, with two levels, GAME A and a faster GAME B where points count double. It stands out for its grey-green segmented screen, buzzer sounds, and a clock that shows the time when the game is not running.

About

Night has fallen and the storm is battering the lighthouse. Buckets come down from the lamp room; waves roll in from the sea. The keeper has three spots and two moves: arms up to catch a bucket, crouch to block a wave. Right lane, right moment — or the water gets through.

A liquid-crystal handheld, just like 1981: a grey-green screen where you can still make out the unlit segments, characters that hop from one fixed spot to the next to a dry tick, a buzzer for every move, and a clock that tells the time when you are not playing.

• Two levels: GAME A, and GAME B — faster, and every point counts double. • Three lives, an extra life every 200 points, high score saved. • Four buttons on the case, or the keyboard (left / right Shift, arrows, Space). • Offline, no ads, no in-app purchases, no data collected.
