Shutdesk – fast delivery from camera to newsroom

Shutdesk is built for photographers who need to receive, select, caption and deliver images while the action is still happening. Transfer photos directly from your camera, add captions and IPTC metadata, and send finished files through one efficient workflow.

The built-in FTP receiver displays new photos as they arrive, and the latest image can open automatically. FTP status can also appear as a Live Activity and in Dynamic Island on supported iPhone models.

Shutdesk automatically pairs JPEG images with corresponding WAV voice memos created by the camera. Speech recognition runs locally on the device, and audio is never sent to external services.

Smart Memo understands natural descriptions such as “Sparta number 18 scores to make it 1–0,” identifies teams and players from the active TXT roster, and can add the information directly to the caption.

Built-in Jersey Analysis examines the photo for visible jersey numbers. Detected numbers can then be matched with the correct player in the active Code Replacement or TXT roster. Choose automatic analysis or manual number entry, and switch the feature off whenever you prefer full control.
