In short
Slingwell is a physics puzzle game where you pull back to launch a probe along a dotted forecast line that shows every bend from gravity wells, then collect stars and land inside a ring. It has thirty hand-tuned levels across three chapters, with no randomness or timers, and it runs offline with no ads, accounts, or analytics. The standout feature is the full-flight preview shown while you aim.
Summary by Debuts, based on the App Store listing.About
Slingwell is a physics puzzle about reading a curve before you commit to it. Touch anywhere in the sky, pull back, and a dotted line shows the exact flight you are about to take — every bend around every planet, every star on the way, right up to the beacon.
WHAT YOU DO • Drag to set the direction, the length of the pull sets the power. • Let go and the probe flies. Gravity takes over from there. • Collect the stars strung along the route, then land inside the mint ring.
WHY IT STAYS INTERESTING • Thirty hand-tuned routes across three chapters: one well, two wells, then three worlds pulling at once. • No randomness and no timers — the outcome of a shot is decided the moment you release, so every failure is a shot you can correct. • Reaching the ring always clears the level. The stars decide whether you leave with one, two or three, which keeps the last star worth chasing. • A full-flight forecast while you aim, so the puzzle is reading the curve, not guessing at it.
BUILT TO BE QUIET • No ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, no notifications. • No analytics and no network code at all. Progress is stored on your device. • Works offline, in a plane, in a tunnel, anywhere. • Synthesised sound and gentle haptics, both switchable off.
Slingwell is a small game about a big idea: that the most satisfying shot is the one you saw coming.
