In short

TapPressure is a logbook for home blood pressure readings, where users type in numbers from their own monitor and see averages, trends, and a chart. It is aimed at people who track readings at home and want a printable report for their doctor. One notable point is that it works fully offline and keeps data on the phone, with no account or tracking.

About

TapPressure is a logbook for the blood pressure readings you take at home. Type in the numbers from your own monitor, see how they are trending, and hand your doctor a clear report.

It does one job and keeps it simple. No account, no ads, no subscription.

WHAT IT DOES

- Log a reading in seconds: top number, bottom number, and pulse if you want it. - See where each reading falls, in plain words: Low, Normal, Elevated, High stage 1, High stage 2, or Very high. - Averages, highest and lowest for the last 7, 30, or 90 days. - A chart of your readings over time. - A one-page report for your doctor, ready to print, send, or show on your phone. - Two optional daily reminders, morning and evening. - A home screen widget with your latest reading and your 7-day average. - Tips for taking a reading the right way. - Day and night modes. - English, Spanish, German, and Vietnamese.

WORKS WITH PATTERNMD

If you use PatternMD, you can sync your readings to your journal there. They appear on your calendar beside your symptoms and medications, and you can print all your records together in one report. Syncing only happens when you choose it.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

No account. No login. No tracking. No data collection. Your readings stay on your phone unless you share a report or sync with PatternMD yourself. When you leave the app, your numbers are hidden from the app switcher.

WORKS ANYWHERE

The whole app is on your phone, so it works with no signal at all.

IMPORTANT

TapPressure records readings you take with your own blood pressure monitor. It does not measure blood pressure, it is not a medical device, and it is not medical care. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. The ranges shown are the American Heart Association's categories for adults; your doctor may set different targets for you. Never change or stop a medication because of something an app shows you. If a reading is above 180 over 120 and you have chest pain, trouble breathing, back pain, numbness or weakness, a change in vision, or trouble speaking, call 911 or your local emergency number.
