Built for filmmakers and content creators, Theia combines a cinema viewfinder with AR previsualization on your iPhone. Explore framing, place virtual characters and props in real locations, and work out camera angles and blocking before the shoot. Capture your ideas and share visual references with your crew.

START WITH THE FREE CORE Use Theia Cinema camera-format references, focal-length framing, Auto exposure, standard still/video capture and basic AR placement. Organize your captures by project and export Current View. Basic use does not expire and has no subscription, advertising, added watermark or project-count limit.

UNLOCK FULL VERSION ONCE An optional non-consumable purchase unlocks premium tools: additional camera brands and frame lines, custom LUTs, Cinema and Manual exposure, compatible custom characters and props, character actions, supported room scanning and motion capture, custom photo/color backdrops, maps/navigation, Look and Scout Cards, and additional camera-original saving options. Restore Purchases is available from the unlock page. Existing paid-download customers retain full access after their original purchase is verified.

BLOCK IN REAL SPACE Place characters and props in your location using augmented reality. Adjust positions and scale, straighten tilted objects, and move your iPhone to explore angles. Spatial scenes save automatically so you can return to your latest setup. Compatible imported static models are available with Full Version.

CAPTURE, SHARE AND KEEP YOUR WORK LOCAL Save stills/video, review project captures, export references and transfer Theia project packages. No Theia account is required. Projects and captured media stay on your iPhone, with exports and sharing under your control.

Camera-format and focal-length settings are framing references; capture uses the iPhone camera. Native Apple Log, RoomPlan, motion capture and spatial features depend on device capabilities. Purchasing does not add unsupported hardware features. Unsupported Apple Log devices use a labeled SDR approximation. Static FBX imports do not retain rigs or animation. Theia uses a landscape interface. Sun/moon overlays are planning references whose accuracy depends on location and sensor conditions. Sets Library is Coming Soon and is not included as a completed premium tool.
