About
Things You Do helps you build five everyday habits that research links to better mental health — without a diagnosis, an account, or a big commitment.

THE FIVE HABITS
• Meaningful Activities — doing things that bring accomplishment, satisfaction or joy • Healthy Thinking — practising realistic, balanced thoughts, especially under stress • Goals and Plans — having something to work toward and look forward to • Healthy Routines — sleep, meals, movement and the daily basics that set you up well • Social Connections — genuine contact with the people who matter to you
HOW IT WORKS
Start with a short self-assessment — fifteen statements, under two minutes — to see where you currently stand across the five habits. You get a personalised read on your balance, and your first suggested activity straight away.
From there the app suggests one small thing at a time, at moments that fit the shape of a normal day: routines in the morning, a reflection prompt in the early evening, wind-down at night, connection at weekends. Logging what you did takes a tap or two.
Pick from a library of suggestions for each habit, or add your own activities in your own words and reuse them.
Healthy Thinking works a little differently — instead of a checkbox, it opens a short guided prompt, because reframing a thought isn't something you tick off. And when there's nothing specific to suggest, you get a two-to-five minute breathing or stretching break instead of another generic reminder.
WEEKLY EXPERIMENTS
Set up to three small experiments for the week — things you want to try rather than targets you must hit. Give one a simple goal if you like ("three times this week"), or leave it as a plain intention. Log progress as it happens.
Every Sunday evening, one gentle prompt opens a single wrap-up: how the week went, what to carry forward, and what to try next. Every few weeks it goes a little deeper and invites you to retake the assessment to see how your balance has shifted.
